For some of us, it takes some time to get into the swing of summer. Some of us only finished our academic years mid-June. Others immediately attended conferences or workshops. Every year, I look at the months of summer looming ahead and map out all the fun things I want to do. We always tell our students about the importance of planning, especially as a part of metacognition, and we should do it too. I am sure you already have a lot of exciting things planned, but here’s one big area to consider mulling over: How can we provide our students with more support?
