Connecting Students to Beauty and Wonder

In recent years, many of my students have told me they feel bored, anxious, and lonely. Some explain that they often reach for their phones and scroll just to fill the silence. Listening to them, I’ve learned that this habit is not really about killing time; it is their way of outrunning the heavy sense that nothing around them matters.

  1. This is an incitive impactful article! I think I have used the technique mentioned in point #3 without really understanding the impact I could have had at the moment but now I can use the moment with purpose. Thank you for a great article!
