Moot court is a useful activity for students, especially those considering going to law school or pursuing careers in the legal profession. Given that law school applicants do not come from one discipline, moot court applies to a variety of academic programs. Strong existing intercollegiate competitions exist from Harvard to Iowa to Liberty University. But attendance at such events can be cost-prohibitive. This article will help professors incorporate such an in-class debate in their classes.
