AI Prompts as Catalysts for Learning

Generative AI allows instructors to create interactive, self-directed review activities for their courses. The beauty of these activities is that unlike a traditional self-test, the instructor does not spend time setting up the questions and answers. The instructor only creates a prompt that tells the AI system what they want for the activity, the students enter the prompt on their own, and the AI system does the rest!

  1. These look good. How much time did you spend on developing these 5 prompts, testing them, editing them, and running checks to make sure they were giving you what you wanted? Two hours? Four?
